Tara Carpenter
From a young age I have always had a passion for dance. I grew up in a studio setting and began my dance training at the age of three. I have extensive training from the University of Houston, Broadway Dance Center and from many internationally recognized artists such as Gus Giordano.
My choreography has received many top honors at competitions both nationally and internationally. It was an honor for me to have choreography represented at several prestigious events such as the Tanzommer Dance Festival in Innsbruck, Austria and the Dance Houston Festival in Houston, TX. I also travel across the United States as a professional competition judge.
I am currently the Dance Company Director for The Dance Factory in Houston, TX and am very excited to pursue my other passion, writing, as a freelance writer.
My other interests include cooking, reading and traveling.
